DIRECTOR OF REHABILITATION
They primarily provide outpatient 65%, acute/skilled at hospital 20%, SNF 3 blocks away Medicare Part A/B 10%, and home health5%.
Documentation is electronic medical record (CPSI since 4/1/11) for all
practice environments. Would call it paper light, not paperless.

SUMMARY 
 
Plan, organize, and direct programs, services and day to day department operations

Recruit, schedule, train and supervise rehab services staff

Manage and evaluate department supplies, equipment, programs and services

Assist with development and adherence to departmental budget

Evaluates, establishes and provide plan of care and treatment of patients

Supervises treatment plans provided by staff needed to progress patient

Prepares department Quality reports and/or records.

Performs necessary documentation including: evaluations, progress notes, discharge notes, and billing in a timely manner

Orients new staff, volunteers, or students

Requirement

Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree in Physical, Occupational
Speech Therapy or Bachelor of Science degree

Current Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy
license in the state of Iowa.

Three years management
